What conditions do you specialise in?

I specialise in Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, and general neurology. This includes tremor, dystonia, ataxia, Parkinsonism, and atypical Parkinsonian syndromes such as progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), multiple system atrophy (MSA), and corticobasal degeneration (CBD).

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

Patients are welcome to self-refer for private consultations, although referrals from a GP, consultant, or healthcare professional are also accepted. Some private insurers may require a GP referral before authorising treatment.

What happens during the first consultation?

Your first appointment will include a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, medications, and concerns, followed by a neurological assessment where appropriate. If needed, further investigations or scans may be recommended to support diagnosis.

Do you diagnose Parkinson’s disease?

Yes. I provide specialist assessment and diagnosis for Parkinson’s disease, Parkinsonism, and related movement disorders, helping patients better understand symptoms, prognosis, and treatment options.

What treatments are available for Parkinson’s disease?

Treatment is personalised and may include medication management, symptom control strategies, referrals for supportive therapies, and ongoing neurological care to help maintain quality of life.

Do you offer second opinions?

Yes. Patients often seek a second opinion for complex neurological symptoms, uncertain diagnoses, or specialist advice on treatment options for Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders.

Can you help with tremors or unexplained movement symptoms?

Yes. I assess and treat tremor, stiffness, balance issues, involuntary movements, coordination difficulties, and other neurological symptoms affecting movement.

How do I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked directly through the practice. Please get in touch to discuss availability, insurance, and the most suitable appointment type.

Do you offer ongoing care?

Yes. Follow-up appointments are available to monitor symptoms, review treatment plans, and provide continued specialist support for long-term neurological conditions.

New appointments - £350

Follow up appointments - £225

What languages do you speak?
